Support The Birthing Place at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital

Mary & Elizabeth Hospital is bringing back labor/delivery services for mothers for the first time since 1974. With partial funding from the Louisville Metro Government, construction on the $20M project is expected to begin in spring 2024.

The new services will allow for care to be administered to mothers by either a certified nurse midwife or an OB/GYN physician. The planned labor/delivery/post-partum suites will be designed in a manner that will invite family participation in the delivery, and all will feature spa-inspired labor tubs.

As a supporter of the Birthing Place, you ensure more families in our community will have access to exceptional care and be able to deliver their newborns close to home.
