Facing cancer brings a wave of emotional, physical, and practical stressors that can deeply affect the well‑being of both patients and their families. Research shows that when these burdens are eased, patients experience improved medical outcomes and a greater sense of stability in their care journey. The UofL Health – Brown Cancer Center SOAR ON program exists to enhance quality of life by offering supportive, holistic services that strengthen, uplift, and create a sense of positive, forward motion during one of life’s most challenging chapters.
Whether someone is newly diagnosed, has been navigating cancer for years, or is walking alongside a loved one, the SOAR ON team tailors the right combination of services to meet their unique needs. Through offerings such as acupuncture, art and music therapy, massage therapy, counseling, dietitian expertise, the Image Lab, social work support, sexual health counseling, tobacco cessation, and the Thrive Clinic, the program provides compassionate tools that help patients and caregivers regain balance, hope, and resilience. Your support helps ensure that every family can access these essential, healing resources when they need them most.
